An Intimate Downtown Annapolis Wedding

July 31, 2018

From the photographer: Sophia and Nathan got married on their 7th anniversary, right on the day. Initially, they had a wedding planned for a larger party on the Eastern Shore, but after some thought, they decided to have an intimate morning ceremony, inviting their closest family and friends at the Loews in downtown Annapolis. They did a lot of the preparation themselves, implementing different decorations and elements that showed their style throughout their wedding day. Cakes by Rachel made a beautiful classic white cake adorned with greenery and Sophia and her bridesmaids put together their flowers themselves! Pretty Weird Beauty gave Sophia the most beautiful vintage waves and a glamorous makeup look that elevated the whole bridal ensemble. Grove Lettering Co. put together the most beautiful keepsake invitation suite in colors of Sophia's wedding palette. After the morning ceremony, the guests were welcomed to a mimosa filled cocktail hour followed by a farewell brunch. When the party was over, everyone said their well wishes during a lavender send off! Sophia, Nathan and I then drove closer into town to take their portraits as newlyweds in State Circle, soaking in all the soft, afternoon light. It was the perfect way to end the day!
