Perfect Summer Wedding on the Water

February 5, 2018

From the photographer: "How do I even begin to describe this couples wedding day!? With hopes of planning a weekend getaway for their family and friends, while also incorporating many nautical touches like the water and a lighthouse, they selected Swan Cove Manor as their wedding venue. The property is scattered with numerous houses, perfect for hosting out of town friends and family, and situated right along the Choptank River and the Chesapeake Bay. As far as these two go, one of the best things is their backstory. What fun a little rivalry is, right?! With Chance being in the Army and Lindsay being in the Navy, the two met during an Army vs Navy competition, and a few years later they were engaged right before and Army Navy game! There were so many fun touches that incorporated their military backgrounds, including Chance’s dress uniform that he wore for the ceremony, and their saber arch exit from the chapel! These two went on to celebrate the day with all their friends and family and had SO MUCH FUN. The tented reception area was filled with dancing, including a special father/daughter dance, heaps of laughter, and plenty of delicious food. The night was met with a sunset unlike anything we’d ever seen before and we were able to capture some amazing sunset photos for them!"
